A Correction
Dear Reader,
Our banking story in today’s newsletter titled 'Another European Bank In A Corner' said the Reserve Bank of India has asked banks to make an additional 20% provisioning for their exposure to the top 20 business houses. This is incorrect. The original Business Line story linked here said quantum of the provision was left to the bank boards. The error is regretted.
