Why Did Shopee Exit India?

In this episode, Farheen Khan discusses Shopee's exit from India.  While the Singapore-based company says that "global market uncertainties" were the primary cause of its closure, there were also other factors at play. For the main storey she talks  about worldwide food inflation. Companies are being forced to reduce package sizes and restaurants are compelled to use steaming or baking instead of frying due to rising food prices. Fertilizer costs are also on the rise.
